About this piece
A pitcher has to do one thing well — pour without dribbling — and that comes down to the lip. We pull the spout by hand while the rim is soft, thinning it to a clean edge so the stream breaks cleanly instead of running back down the outside.
The body is thrown full and round for stability when it’s full, with a generous mouth so it’s easy to fill and easy to clean. The honey glaze warms the whole thing; it’s as at home holding wildflowers as it is water at dinner.
